People who argue about the imminent demise of Runescape

You could also opt to cut your logs near Rimmington. There are some who sell their logs in the general retail store. Ask any questions you might have on the forum. Hi My name is John and I must be aware of what's happening around me (not the businesses of others, no, not I'm inquisitive) however, I'm not sure how it works. I've been selling willow bows to stores that sell general merchandise and fletching the willow longbows (u) because there was no demand for the willow longbows at 83gp per pound. This means I earn 16 gp for each willow long (u) however, the store is selling it at 64 gp per ea. How does the general store function? Does it always fetch 4 times as much as it paid to buy?

However, I noticed in certain fan sites that they list items with the same low alch income that are that are sold to general shops. But this is not true for willow long (u). If you low alch them, they will cost 64 gp ea, but 16 gp ea when you sell them to the general store, the STORE will sell at 64 gp ea. I'm wondering if there's an established formula that is applicable to all items for general stores or whether there are any some exceptions.

I was wondering about that and I looked around the databases of items on a variety of websites...This one website said that it was a cost of zero gp to purchase an Armadyl Godsword from the general store that is not feasible therefore I'm guessing they were referring to N/A, or did they mean that it isn't available at the general store? Many other commonly used items, like bows, seem to follow the "multiply-by-4" rule Buy OSRS Accounts. This means that if you sell an item for 1 gp, they'll sell it for 4 and the list goes on.
